Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Websites and their service providers may also receive network connection information when a page, font or form request is loaded.

Services loaded by this website

• Cloudflare Pages delivers the website and its assets. Hosting and security services receive network requests needed to serve the site.
• The website serves its typefaces locally; loading a page does not send a font request to Google.
• FormSubmit receives your enquiry data when you submit a form and sends it by email to Soleil Energy’s inboxes. A copy also goes to theStacc, the web agency that runs this website, for support and testing.
• Google Analytics 4, loaded through the Google tag from googletagmanager.com, runs on every page, including the confirmation pages shown after you send a form. It is described under Analytics and advertising below.
• A chat widget from GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) loads on most pages, but not on the confirmation pages shown after you send a form. Loading it sends your IP address and browser details to that provider. It may use cookies or browser storage to recognise a returning visitor and keep a chat going. If you use the chat, your messages are received by Soleil Energy through its GoHighLevel account.

Analytics and advertising

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and enquiry forms are used. It sets two kinds of cookie: _ga, which tells one visitor from another, and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which keeps track of a visit. Both can last up to two years. Google receives your IP address, browser and device details, approximate location, the pages you view and the page that referred you, and may use that data as described in its own privacy policy. When you send an enquiry, the site also tells Google Analytics that a form was submitted, with the form name and division only. It does not send your name, email address, phone number, address or message. To opt out, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This website does not currently offer a cookie preference banner. It does not include Google Tag Manager, advertising or social-media tracking pixels, or telephone-number replacement for call tracking. Google Analytics and the chat widget are the third-party scripts that run when a page loads.

Your browser settings

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking Google Analytics only stops the visit count; the site works without it. Blocking another third-party service or network request may affect form delivery. You can contact Soleil Energy by phone if a form does not work with your settings.
